I love picket fences. I've always wanted to have one surround my house - but alas this is not allowed in my neighborhood!
This photo was taken in Arcadia, FL a couple of months ago.

Fencing had always been one of the most integral part of the ancient architecture. Usually in the form of a boundary or a structure, fences were erected as an independent entity between two different pieces of lands.
