A day in the Botanical Gardens...

I visited the Naples Botanical Gardens yesterday.  This wondrous place is truly a gift to those of us lucky enough to live in SWFL.  I could have easily spent the day there - but prior commitments prevented me from doing so.  I can hardly wait to go back.

Long May She Wave...

Memorial Day celebrations abound this weekend.  We fly our flag everyday.  Heartfelt thanks to all the service men and women who have fallen in the line of duty and those who serve us today so that we may be free.

It's been five weeks since my arthroscopic knee surgery.  I finally got the go ahead from my doctor - I can start power walking again!  I bought some new shoes to celebrate the occasion.

creepy, crawly

I came across this creepy, crawly monster on the beach.  Someone took a lot of time to sculpt this piece.  Always a nice surprise to come across the unexpected.
