Pray look better, Sir...those things yonder are no giants, but windmills. (Miguel de Cervantes)
My husband and I were fortunate enough to vacation in Spain and Portugal last year. We toured the lands of Don Quixote and saw a lot of windmills.

Love the POV! What a beautiful windmill!
Have a happy Monday. :)
Lovely post and edit.
Love your windmill! I had to laugh, though... I was just in Holland and almost posted a windmill today, too. Decided to go for wooden shoes instead, whew!
Lovely your Windmühle.
fabulous! and thank you for sharing your rendering steps!
Such a pretty Windmill.. Love your editing.. Looks wonderful.
This is one of my favorite transformations yet. I like that it's not a floral photo (though I do like them, it's nice to see a different subject), and the colors are just so cool over the original image. I really MUST learn that mouse over function; it's so cool.
I would love to visit Spain someday -- love your beautiful windmill and edit, Pat. :)
I really enjoy to see how you process the photos. Sometimes I am stuck in a rut of what I know. I love the windmill. V
Yes, I love this painted effect and your original image too Pat :)
This is gorgeous, I love the painted effect which works perfectly with your subject and composition. Truly lovely.
Truly beautiful... love your treatment, works so well with this image :)
seen in Kim's Café
So pretty - your photo really picked up the textures. This is a hidden treasure - not that many people visit the windmills and they are an awesome sight. Like you, we also had a beautiful day we saw them.
Awesome photo ~ lovely ~ thanks, namaste, ^_^
How wonderful.
I live in Andalucía. I always have to crossed La Mancha to go to the north.

Great perspective; this shot came out great!
Gorgeous editing! Love it.
I'm visiting from Thursday Favorite things. My daughter lives in Spain and has sent me tons of lovely photos. I can't wait to try some techniques on them using PSE
Very well edited. Looks lovely!
Coming to you from Katherine's Favorite Things Blog Hop.

I like it, just as I like your stuff every week!
Before I saw your layers list, I was thinking...”This looks like a beautiful watercolor!” The way you manipulated the texture and Topaz is awesome. You really do have the magic touch when it comes to the use of texture. Your windmill is wonderful. Until I read your post, I thought of windmills being a part of the Netherlands. I had no idea there were more in Portugal and Spain...2 countries I did not visit. I wish I was younger and could travel like I used to do. genie
Wow thank you for showing us how to do this. THe pictures you have created look amazing. I'm a new follower from a Thursday blog hop, please follow me back at www.iheartpears.blogspot.com
