Nothing is precious...

Art journal on easel; stand at arm's length; sketch with charcoal holding it loosely at its end.  No brainer sketches - smudge, erase, it's all fair game.  I decided to seal it with matte medium applied using an old credit card.  It smeared the sketches, but that's okay.  Nothing is so precious that it cannot be altered.  I like the mystery it created.

Abstract and Distortion

A different take on figure drawing - abstraction and distortion.  Drawing the hands large to give them added importance; distorting the rest of the body...inspired by the work of Emma Petit.
