My Mama Said “never stick anything up your nose" - then along came COVID-19! Have you been tested yet? For my upcoming surgery, I had to get tested - no fun!
As I was having another procedure with a big q-tip done, I commented, "this isn't nearly so bad as I imagine it would be going up your nose." The nurse assistant agreed heartily and the doc said, "Tell me about it -- I get tested once a week!"
