Under Lock & Key...

Have you heard of love locks?  A local bridge in Prague is adjourned with countless locks. The bridge is just around the corner from the John Lennon Peace Wall.   The bridge and Peace Wall are located in the Castle District.  It took a while to find - but was well worth the effort.

Original photos taken in Prague.

Great photos - they recently removed the locks from a bridge in Paris as there were so many and it was interfering with safety! #ourworldphoto

I have seen love locks in several countries, but never in New Zealand (where I live). There might be some here, but I don't know about them. I love the wall photos.

Very unusual picture. In India, they tie bells to trees near some temples.

Interesting that these "love locks" are found on bridges in many cities around the world. Paris just recently removed them from the bridge where I believe this tradition started...and I believe they passed a law forbidding it to continue. It was dangerously damaging the bridge...

Oh. I didn't know they also have it in Prague. People who believe in love are everywhere. :)
