I'm afraid I might not *sit* long in this chair and would find myself on the ground! But, fixed up a bit, it would be wonderful! Visiting from Texture Tuesday and Texture Twist.
Fantastic chair. With the wonderful condition its in now, it makes me wonder who has been using it all its wonderful life. And where is its adventure taking it now.
LOL... I think I'd fall right out on my bum... but still, think of all the stories it holds. I wish it could tell us just a few. Visiting from Texture Tuesday and Texture Twist.
What a fun shot! Some memories here for me -- I can remember a set of chairs (much like this one but with a complete back!) one of my Aunt's had. She would bring them out for picnics in her yard.

What a lovely chair!
Given the state of the chair it doesn't invite me to sit on it, but it invites me to dream big for sure!
Love the chair and your edit.
Peggy's cove is a beautiful spot for photography, colorful picture.

I wouldn't lean back to far in it, but it has a great rustic look. very nice image!
Good attempt at recycling, but needs more practice. :-)

Some nice fabric and the chair will be as good as new! Great picture!
The chair might be uncomfortable to sit in but it makes a great photo.

When you live in a small fishing community, you have to learn to make do. The chair is artful in a utilitarian sort of way. - Margy
Those who make do with what they have, never do without. That chair has seen its share of dreams.
What a unique find and great subject for texture!

Love the rustic nature of this chair! So cool, but I think I'll stand!
That chair looks like it could be for an April Fool's joke!
It has great character!
Lovely idea for a photo....
Could I move the chair away from the water before I sit down!
