Happy New Year!

It is hard to believe that it is time to say farewell to 2013.  Where did the time go?

I'm always impressed with Mother Nature.  My Christmas cactus is blooming right on time.  This dear plant is about 6 years old.  It must be completely root bound by now and I rarely remember to water it, but somehow it manages to survive.

Best wishes to you for a New Year filled with love, hope and creativity!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Your Christmas Cactus caught my eye right off in all the images for Kim's Texture Tuesday. Maybe I fret over mine way too much. It did bloom already but it's not nearly as large as yours! Beautiful!

Hello and Happy New Year! We are snowed in here in northern Indiana so I'm taking advantage of gift of quiet time to visit a few new friends from the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop at Katherine's Corner. I love your art work and I see that you have Creative Every Day on your sidebar . . . . I did that project a couple of years ago and am happy to see that Leah is still offering this wonderful opportunity for creative community. I"ll pop over there and sign up again for 2014. I'm your newest follower, and would like to invite you to stop by my blog at Vintage Mama's Cottage and check out some of my craft tutorials. Hope to connect with you again soon in one of the other blog hops. See you soon, Nina @ Vintage Mama's Cottage www.mamaslittletreasures.com
