First I set up in the kitchen, but that did not work. I finally resorted to taking everything outdoors. (Water dripped into a dark blue bowl.)
This is not exactly the shot I hoped for (the focus is a bit "off"), but for the time being it will do.

No this is not an easy task to do in photography..but you did a great job.
Oh wow that an amazing capture!!!!
I've tried to do this! Your shot is way better than any of mine!
I wouldn't laugh. I'd think "holy cow, she actually got it!" Bravo -- your patience is amazing!
very cool tho. love the blue. this has been on my list to try too.
It was worth the time spent, that's a perfect picture. :)
It is wonderful Pat!! Great work, and the blue is awesome! I have never tried shooting a water drop but I can see the challenges. Thank you for sharing this.
I have yet to try a water drop shot for the reasons you mentioned. I like the deep blue bowl.
Your persistence paid off.
I've tried this and it didn't result in as nice a capture as yours Pat -- well done! :)
Wow - it was definitely worth the wait!
I think you did a great job on capturing your water drops....The blue bowl really adds to the beauty.....
Beautifully done. Great shot. Love the blue bowl for the color.
Beautiful shot! I've never tried to capture a water droplet because I'm afraid it would be far too difficult for me.
Thanks for joining the party at Tales of a Pee Dee Mama!
