Great shot. A couple years ago a 13 footer was pulled out of a river here, which broke all previous records of alligators found. I say there are probably more that size that have yet to be found.
Pat, I have to be isolated for two weeks but I was not really alone. You'll never know how creative some people/friends are to show their concern and love. I get calls every hour!

Awesome photo! I love alligators :)
I guess your really have to watch your step there.
Nice capture of the gator enjoying some sunshine.
"Please stay on the boardwalk at all times!" LOL What a great shot Pat.

I love the angle of this shot and your bravery as well....
Whoa - you are brave. I think I would have picked up my pace on the boardwalk if I saw that guy.
Tough looking one but he looks cute to me ;-)

Cool capture! I'd be using a ZOOM lens on this guy ;)
Great way to start the day!
I think I would have walked back to the car. Very, very quickly!
Wow that would be scary to be so close, good thing it was taking a bit of a snooze. The park sounds like an awesome place to visit.
It is shocking when you run into a live wild animal, especially one like this. Nice shot!
Not accustomed to stumbling across alligators in the cornfield, this would be rather an exciting find. :)
You seem awfully close to that critter
You are a much braver soul than I am, either that or you have a very good zoom lens. :)
Thanks for joining the party at Tales of a Pee Dee Mama.
A terrific capture, Pat! :)
wow! not such a little thing for Little Thing Thursday! you are brave.
