We've had nothing but rain, rain, rain for what seems like the entire summer. Luckily, no hurricanes - that's a good thing.
The skies filled rain clouds over the gulf are quite dramatic. (I skeedaddle home at the first sight of lightning.)
A photo of raindrops on my car window was layered over top of my original photo taken on the Naples beach.

Oh my goodness that's a breathtaking picture.
Those are fabulous -- if very freaky looking -- clouds. I do love a good storm or two, as long as the lightning isn't too bad -- but day after day of them gets rather tedious!
Amazing shot, we had less rain this summer than we usually get but it's making up for it now !!!!
Stunning capture of the storm clouds! It looks like a painting. Not sure I'd be staying on the beach for very long. :-)
Visiting from Friday Finds.
Oh seriously, feeling your pain..all it does is rain here in Florida...I am about ready to move to Puerto Rico next...LOL! Your image is lovely.
What a gorgeous sky photo!! And, so clever to layer the raindrops on top of it. :)
Dark ominous clouds but those people at the beach don't seem to mind at all.
That sky is breathtaking!
What an awesome shot....I hope you get some sunshine soon...
Wow that is some shot. I'm not so sure I'd be staying on that beach with those clouds looming in the sky like that. Stunning piece.
That is simply stunning. I'm worried about the people on the beach :) We don't get rain here at all in the summer. Quite the opposite of your weather!
just looks at those angry clouds! you capture them beautifully.
That's a really great picture. I skeedaddle at the first sign of lightening too.
What a great image! The people on the beach seem oblivious to what is looming off in the distance. Certainly tells a story.
Those ominous clouds add a lot of drama to this scene.
I am starting a new painting of some stone bridges in Scotland, I am going to take your sky and apply to my colors that I use. It definitely adds drams.
Very creative photography of the beach ~ despite the rain ~ happy day to you ~ carol ^_^

I'm envious. I love a good storm and your image portrays so many of the things I love about them. It's a very dramatic and beautiful shot. Or perhaps that should be dramatically beautiful. Either way.
What an amazing cloud formation!
Such a great scenery - the sky is awesome! Wow - hurricanes must be something else ... I stop complaining about rainy days after having read your post ;-)
Oh those clouds look threatening.
Your treatment really adds to the already dramatic sky. Fabulous photo art, Pat.
I had to really look to see the raindrops on the window♫ Very dramatic scene...My Top Shot: http://lauriekazmierczak.com/hint-of-autumn/
I love the ominous clouds at the ocean - they're always so striking. Beautiful image, and I love what you did with the processing. Thank you for sharing!
Love those huge, puffy clouds and the beach scene, and I'm happy to know the hurricanes have stayed away so far!
Wow, what a great shot of a storm rising... very dramatic! Thank you for coming by sharing your creative photography on Weekly Top Shot #103!
I know I've been here already, I just wanted to say I saw this at Super Sunday Sync, hurrah! Thank you for linking it. :)
Have a great week!
Great image, Pat! I love the lighting and texturing! Those clouds do not look friendly!
