Junk Mail

If I had a nickel for every piece of junk mail that is delivered to my home on a daily basis, I'd be rich!

My husband and I are lucky enough to be in the position to donate money to various charities.  It really bugs me though when we get pleas for more from these same charities several times a month.  (Makes one wonder where the money is really going - for good or postage!)  Don't even get me started on the political mailings - egad!

Does anyone really read this stuff?

I've thought about the postage thing, too...as well as the address labels they send...and even calendars. Definitely makes one wonder!

I don't think I've opened a piece of junk mail in 5 years lol. It immediately goes in the trash can.

Most junk mail goes directly into the recycle bin, before I even get back into the house from the mailbox! I, too, hate to think of the $$ spent designing, printing and mailing all that stuff that we throw out without a glance. The phone calls (even though we're on the 'Do Not Call' registry are what get me most... grrrr! Thank you for coming by sharing your creative photography on the Weekly Top Shot, #105!

I subscribe to the "if you ask I will not donate" maxim.

I like the way you edited your photo. I never read junk mail.

My husband is a mailman, he's not a fan of junk mail either. ;)

Junk mail is the worst!! It's such a waste - and it's so bad for the environment!

I will add catalogues to this list of junk mail....Some of them are heavy and I know expensive to produce and the postage must be out rageous...If you ask for one that's another thing but just to randomly send them out...I too think it's just a waste of money.

Sometimes I mail it back as "unsolicited; return to sender." What I hate worse is the folks who stick things in your door handle. And it's political season -- I'll see it more and more...
