I would dearly love to own a vintage oil lamp like this - one never knows when a storm will shut off our lights!
My original photo taken in Sherbrooke Village, Nova Scotia.
"Blue Missive," "Lost and Found," and "Antique Me" textures courtesy of Pixel Dust Photo Art - I used all 3 of these delightful textures! Layer mask to each texture layer added to protect the glass reflection.

Just beautiful!
Of course I would be a nervous wreck that old lamp would burst into flames!
Your image is fabulous....

The old oil lamp sure is vintage. Love the texture with the tear in it. Valerie
The texture combination is fabulous. Love the lamp too.
What a great photo and processing on this old lamp. I just love these!
This is awfully pretty. I really love the angle and the textures are so warm.
Your choice of textures and editing perfectly enhance the innate beauty...and vintageness...of the lamp.
a fantastic choice to evoke vintage, Pat!! wow! enormously well done!!
Way to go using all 3 textures. They worked so well with this lamp image. So artistic. I like the torn piece in the wall paper too.
A lovely vintage image. Love your techniques - it really brings out the character of this old lamp. xx
I would love to own one of those too. Great photograph :)

Beautiful. I love old housewares like this. I have a little collection of miniature lamps but not a large one. Well, I have a modern large one, but not a real old vintage lamp.
You retained the reflections so well. Great editing - love the tear in the wallpaper, too.
I love the lamp.
Well-used it seems. Really beautiful!
Great post for the theme.
Nice photos!

Love the lines in this image!
I love old lamps but you have made this into an heirloom!!
I would love to have a vintage oil lamp!!!
I do have a vintage oil lamp like that! :D Well, my parents have it back in Italy. :) A beauty, isn't it? Beautiful edit, Pat! Happy weekend.

Still functional and full of past glories♫ My top shot: http://lore-eleven.blogspot.com/2013/02/fun-with-sundials.html
We had a couple of these when my kids were little and we were living in a small country village. The power went out often and I was always grateful for the oil lamps. Lovely editing and thanks for stirring some memories.
I am lucky enough to own one quite like that, inherited from my grandparents! A beautiful photograph.
Thank you for coming by sharing your creative photography on Weekly Top Shot #72!
My grandmother's old hurricane lamp is filled with a red oil. This photo reminds me of the time when it was used back in the day.
