I must buy a bigger vase - the one I have on hand is very small - not quite 3x3. It would be hard to place any fruit in it. Besides that, I didn't have any fruit in the house that I thought would look good floating in the seltzer - a banana - doubt it. I did have some lovely flowers on the kitchen table and thought that might work instead.
The flower kept floating around, so it was necessary to hold it down. I swished it around to create the bubbles.
This is my favorite!
green-patterned scrapbook paper behind the vase in the first two shots; replaced with pink for the one below
This was a lot of fun to do.

Wow, that second photo stopped me, made me click open your post. What fabulous photos and so interesting how you got them!
Your second is my favourite too! Great shot. When I saw your title I thought you may have had floods this week too - thankfully nit.
I LOVE how these turned out! I must try that myself.
So much fun and they all turned out really well. Now, I'm gonna have to try it at home myself. I love them. Great job.
Your shots came out really well! I wonder what other kinds of things you can dip in soda for a shot? Hmm... Now I want to play with my camera and some soda. :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
hm. have to try it. I actually did something similar today. I put a flower in sweet water and froze it, then shot it. I have not posted it yet. :)
Beautiful photos, I love those flowers, beautiful yellow. They are visual poems. Greetings.
Oh my...these are just amazing!!!
What a fabulously fun idea Pat. I'll have to remember that for when I have the right thing to put in the pop. Hum...maybe that silly frog...
I love your images and the way you processed them!
Very cool effect! Thanks for sharing the technique. I also love the frame you chose.
I've seen this experiment a few times and I've bought the fruit and the seltzer water but never seem to get around to doing it.
I think you did a wonderful job!
I like the idea of the different paper for backgrounds - a great idea.

I saw the same blog and have been playing with this too! So much fun! I only have huge backdrops so I've been using colored poster boards...but I will try your scrapbook idea. They came out great!
