There were hundreds of small apples lying about in a small park area in Burncoat, Nova Scotia. This little was was lying all alone on the board walk.

One lonely little apple! I love the big shadow on this small apple and the weathered boards. Very nice. xx
Very nicely done.
I like the simplicity
That gives a lovely warmth that appeals to me on this cold day!
Simplicity and beauty combined . . .x

I've recently discovered gradients Pat and am really having fun with them. Looks like you have mastered them in this photo. Lovely!
Great subject....simple and natural.
It was waiting for you to come along and take a picture. :)
This is beautiful in its simplicity. The weathered boards are the perfect background for the green of the apple. Bravo!
Love the texture you used on that sweet little apple.
Love the subtle colors you've captured...the wood grain brings much interest. Nicely done!
Beautiful photo...a lonesome apple.
Very artistic shot ~ great photography work ~ ^_^
So pretty. Love the contrast of textures.
It looks lonely there all by itself. Needs another to make a pear. HaHa. Valerie
Beautiful edit, Pat! :)
You made a very simple composition look very inviting, Pat. Love that the slates of the board walk are on the diagonal and it's nice you had some sunshine to provide a shadow. Thanks for joining Walk and Click Wednesdays!!
