Firstly, my dress form - let's call her Christmas Carol - dons her Christmas bustier. The bustier is made of grocery shopping bags, painted, cut and stitched. Handmade ribbon rosettes and beaded trim added for fun. She has many outfits which change seasonally.
My children are all grown up with families of their own. Celebrating the holidays without them is hard. We live in Florida and they are in Illinois. Luckily, I still have one kid at home. Not really, but my husband does love Christmas and he still acts like a kid when he sees Frosty ;-)
How do you celebrate?

Big Family dinner on Christmas eve and peek into stockings...early christmas morn...whole family gathers and exchanges presents...then chill until dinner prep time.

My husband tells me all the time that he's only 3 1/2, but I am the one that acts like a kid on Christmas.
I know how it is to have children who cannot come to family gatherings. Our one son lives thousands of miles away and we visit by webcam and cyberspace. Blessings to you and yours this Christmas. Love that tree.

Wonderful composition, I like that bustier, sexy, beautiful and fun. Greetings.
so wonderful!
Three delightful Christmas images! Carol looks ready for the celebrations - what a terrific idea!
Cool bustier, and the huge snowman is adorable, the cluster from Raspberry Road Designs is perfect with it! :D
Happy weekend.
This will be my first year celebrating Christmas without all my children Christmas morning! I can't imagine none being here. That is a few years away I hope.
Love Christmas Carol!
We keep the feast quietly: dinner with a brother, calls with the kids. I doubt I will set up a tree, but I have put up the nativities. That is the heart of the season anyway...
Christmas is quieter these days, but I still enjoy it thoroughly. Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #61!
I just can't imagine celebrating such happy moments away from my kids, I'm lucky that we stay in a tiny island and we could see each other regularly. But I do have some relatives who are staying in Europe and USA, and we see each other only every few years. Thank God for internet, which has made the world a small place.
Pat I can so relate to it being so hard at Christmas!! Our kids are grown too and live across the country. My husband can still be the child at times also♥
Thanks for making me laugh.
Merry Christmas to YOU!
Laurie
