Soap

On my recent trip to Nova Scotia, I found a  myriad of things to photograph in Sherbrooke Village.   The villagers still make their own soap and candles.

Wonderful capture, Pat -- and neat to hear that those old skills are still put to good use. :)

So pretty. Love the vintage feel of your image, and I love hearing that traditional methods are still surviving.

An absolutely beautiful still life with monotone colors! Even better, the handmade soap...I always pick up a bar when I find one on an outing. I even found a handmade nubby washcloth that I love.

lovely work, Pat, and I really love the feel of your photograph. it is so enriching to discover pockets of Life where simple DOing is still the Way.
