For 32 years we had a drive-in movie theater in Naples. Actually it was a flea market and drive-in theater. It's been 6 years or more since it was torn down ... sigh. The Boys and Girls Club of Naples was built on the site.
I can remember as a teenager piling into someone's car and going to a late show. $5 for a car load of people - what a deal! It was so much fun - eating popcorn, drinking large Cokes and watching car windows steam up! (I wonder what they were doing...)
The little roadster is not truly a Truly car, but I saw it in the parking lot at Michael's one day and just knew it would enjoy this movie too.
(I spent way more time than I had planned composing this collage!)

How about you - any drive-in theaters nearby?

Oh how I miss Drive-in theaters. Sigh!! Last one around here was 18 years ago or so. I miss them.
Wish they would come back.
Great piece by the way!

Oh, how I miss drive ins! They are few and far between now. I think I may have seen my first movie at the drive in. Lovely piece! Fun!
drive ins are fun...
Good to see the Trulies enjoying themselves as the movies! I can see why this took you a long time. Doing digital collages is totally addicting. I'm 64 now, but when I was a kid, my folks would take me and my sister to the drive-in theater. I never got to go to one with a date, though....
Gosh, that brings back fun memories.

Another fabulous art work! Happy Friday and weekend ahead. :)
A great all American image, I love it :)
I has been years since I was at a drive-in. There is one down the street from us. Fabulous shot!!!
Oh it was so worth the time and effort don't you think? I do. It is great!!!
Well your extra effort was well rewarded. Yes it was so much fun to go to the drive in.... remember it well.
Wow! Fantastic work with cars once again! Fabulous!

gotta love it!
Terrific work!
I am smiling. I get a kick out your sense of humor. I remember dates at the drive in when I was young. Now it is too late to stay up. :) Valerie
