Madrid - Day 2

We took a morning bus tour of the city.  These are a few of the things we saw:

Cervantes Monument

Cervantes wrote Don Quixote de la Mancha, among other things.

I saw this photo-op outside the Royal Palace.  I took the picture and with the help of Photoshop pasted our faces into the photo.  We look so great, I wouldn't be surprised if the king invites us to his special reception at the palace tomorrow night.

Long lines to get into Prado Museum.  Surprisingly, it only took about 20 minutes before we reached the ticket office.  We enjoyed lunch in the cafeteria before wandering about the museum for a couple of hours.  By that time, our eyes were glazed over.  We walked back to the hotel to put our feet up for a bit.
