Two Girls

Making small quilts is always a challenge for me.  I've been asked to donate some artwork for several different worthy causes.  Over the next three weeks, II'll show you what I've made.  Each quilt measures 8x10.

Materials: Cotton, silk, acrylic ink
Method:  Machine pieced, image transfer, ink jet printed, appliqued, stamped, machine quilted

You are a great quilter regardless of the size. I had a friend that made small quilts for the sick at a children's hospital.

I've always thought of "small" quilts as lap size. This is a whole new meaning and it's wonderful! I love this idea and must share it with my quilting friends! Donating them for worthy causes is the icing on the cake!

Happy PS!

I really like this one...and it is a bit of a mind twist working on such a small area. I just finished some small art quilties for a swap. They are only 4 x 6 inches! It was really fun to see what I could come up with. Since I love small-ish creations I'm going to be doing more of them.

I'll watch for more of your tiny quilts.

Have a PiNk Sparkly day!

Happy Pink Saturday, Pat.

I love this fabulous piece of art. The expressions on those little faces made me smile. What a treasure this will be for a lucky someone.

This is absolutely beautiful! I love the transfers you did and the quilting in the back is wonderful. I have only made one small quilt. I loved every minute of it, but don't seem to have the motivation to start another one. I hand quilted it all. You did a wonderful job, and I know the recipient will love it! Happy PS!
Blessings,
Tricia

This piece is lovely. My sister makes lap quilts, and I am always amazed at their design. I love how you have the little girl's leggies matching her dress.
