BTW, how did you manage to stay so 'clean' against the autumnburst background? I never manage to get the mask cleaned up properly. I just bought a janone, lowest of the range, after my beloved industrial Pfaff gave out. Quite a change from the cast iron to plastic. But at least I don't have to yank the bobbin thread out of the race hundreds of times.
WOW...this ain't my momma's quilting! :). Such beautiful work you do! I wish I had the patience, but my sewing machine and I are always bickering with each other. The autumn burst looks lovely on your "do" photo. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and your comment, please feel free to stop in any time.
Oh I love this photo of you! Just excellent with this texture. I have no idea what fiber art is, and I will have to explore it someday. Looks interesting!
I really don't understand how you do these with sewing machine!!! Like that last work where is that women...how you do it, have you painted the women or is it really all done with sewing machine. You are amazing:) "when will the Terror End" is so touching.
Pat, love the self-portrait, texture looks fantastic. How blessed you are to get so much time dong what you love. You are extremely creative and very talented. Have a great week.
Oh, you really are an artist! I'm so impressed by your pieces pictured in this post. And I'm impressed that you could use the Autumn Burst texture so well on your own photo.
wow, what a wonderful thing to do, and you do it well. i love material, but it seems that i destroy the tension on any machine i buy, so i have a drawer full of beautiful material that i only admire. i'm so glad i found your blog so i can enjoy all your lovely artwork!

love that shot of you hard at work in your studio!
Really neat take on this texture. I would not have thought to put a human being in the composition, but it really works! Very original.
