What a great way to start off a Saturday morning visiting the farmer's market right around the corner from our apartment!
First stop - fresh rolls
I know the red vegetables are radishes, but I don't have a clue as to the green one - such interesting color and texture. I'm looking forward to trying it. It looks like some kind of broccoli.
While most of these students know how to sew, none of them have ever made a quilt. The workspace they have is really great - very bright - and plenty of supplies to work with.
We meet again next Friday for a lesson on machine quilting. Everyone is catching on quickly and their work is progressing nicely. I wish we had more time together...
