My Story...

Texture Tuesday challenge is the word prompt "story".

This seemed an appropriate photo since I'm sitting on top of my mother's sewing machine cabinet.  Now as an adult (a much older child really!) I spend my days sitting at my own sewing machine.  I remember my mother saying to me (when I was naughty - moi - never!) "There was a little girl, who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead.  When she was good, she was very very good, but when she was bad, she was horrid".

I used Kim Klassen's texture "Scripted Edges" over top of a photo of myself as a child.   "One Fine Day" frame from Digital Scrapper,  font "Junko's Typewriter" and plug-in from Topaz Labs

Hi Pat, that's a great effect with the photo - I remember my mum saying that rhyme to me!

I used that same quote for my daughter...and now my granddaughter. Neither one of them likes it very much!

Visiting you from the hop at Katherine's Corner. My mom used to say the exact thing to me about the little girl with the curl! I was sure she didn't mean me, even though I had ringlet curls:)

How funny is this!! My mom used to always say this to me too...but she also gave me a beautiful hankerchief with that saying and a picture of a little girl on it! I've been wanting to frame it...but I forgot it was in the back of my drawer until NOW! Thanks for the reminder!!!

you were a sweet kid.

You have a lovely blog full of inspirational projects.

Thank you for your comment on my storage. You asked if Tisha has her own box. There is a cupboard with boxes of kiddie craft stuff in in the girls room. But mostly they prefer to play with mine. I'm tempted to simply merge the lot together and be done with it.
