Come Sit Awhile...

Wouldn't it be lovely to sit awhile in this chair and dream big dreams?  (It'll be a tad uncomfortable given the state of the back of the chair!)

Original photo taken in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia.

"Love in Layers" texture courtesy of Kim Klassen; assorted Topaz filters added to original photo.

What a lovely chair!

Given the state of the chair it doesn't invite me to sit on it, but it invites me to dream big for sure!

Love the chair and your edit.

I'm afraid I might not *sit* long in this chair and would find myself on the ground! But, fixed up a bit, it would be wonderful!

Fantastic chair. With the wonderful condition its in now, it makes me wonder who has been using it all its wonderful life. And where is its adventure taking it now.

When you live in a small fishing community, you have to learn to make do. The chair is artful in a utilitarian sort of way. - Margy

LOL... I think I'd fall right out on my bum... but still, think of all the stories it holds. I wish it could tell us just a few. Visiting from Texture Tuesday and Texture Twist.

What a fun shot! Some memories here for me -- I can remember a set of chairs (much like this one but with a complete back!) one of my Aunt's had. She would bring them out for picnics in her yard.
