I started thinking about travel in general and created this journal spread.
gesso on journal pages; addition of torn map
water soluble crayons
addition of torn decorative paper; stamped circles (acrylic paints)
addition of postage stamps, torn calendar page, hand drawn image, stamped text, ephemera

Hi Pat - what a great journal and I hope you have a wonderful time visiting family. My family lives a few hours away and we don't get to see each other near enough. Thanks for visiting and saying hello. The font I use is right in the "design" section of blogger - I don't know the name of it but when you pull up the fonts - there will be a list where you can view them. Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Easter to you...

Hi Pat,
Love your art journal work. I just returned to Ukraine from the U.S. and I did a travel journal while there(3.5 months). I'm following you now both from AB and Bloggerettes. Would love it if you followed on my blog too.
Cheers,
Coleen

This is so fantastic. What a great use of mixed media. The use of maps make this page so aesthetically appealing.
