What's New...

I'm happy to say that the quilt I've been working on for ages is now complete!  However, I cannot show it here in it's entirety because it is to be part of an invitational traveling exhibit “Deeds Not Words”: The Power of Persistence, Celebrating 100 Years of Women's Suffrage. It is being organized by a curatorial group consisting of curators and directors of U.S. quilt museums, and will premier at the National Quilt Museum during Quilt Week in 2020.  It's very exciting and I'm thrilled to be a part of the exhibit.  There will also be a book!!

I just had to create something new now that the quilt is done.  I've had a doll in mind and started on it yesterday...this is going to take a while...my hands are so sore from all the stitching I'm having some trouble shaping the clay - I will persevere!

Congratulations on being part of the exhibit. Sounds like an impressive honor to be included. I love your doll frame. Do you talk to them? I think I probably would!
