Tea Anyone?

Original photo taken in the Pavilion (second floor lobby) of the Langham Hotel in Chicago.  It is a gorgeous hotel and known to serve a lovely Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood, the traditional afternoon tea that first debuted at The Langham, London in 1865. Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood includes proprietary Langham teas, and an array of sweet and savory bites.

The addition of a Topaz Labs filter made the beautiful glass globes suspended from the ceiling look like UFOs.

This is incredibly beautiful and enigmatic. Lovely capture.

Very pretty! I love glass at installations - the way they interact with light make them both eye pleasing and fun to photograph!

The glass globes are so beautiful. Like Kelly, I always have fun playing with glass and such in my photos. Your Topaz edit turned out great!

Love it!
And if that's what UFOs look like, I hope to be abducted by aliens!!

Both are amazing photos! I think I like the second one better, though - the colors are just more vibrant and amazing in that one. Beautiful!

Thank you for sharing it with us at Photo Friday this past week!
