Nature's Chaos

I not only love to create art, I love to collect art too.  When I travel,  I like to bring home art that will remind me of where I have been.  I display these treasure as collections throughout my home.  These wooden pencils, doll and sage smudge wrap are displayed together on a book shelf in my living room.

What art collections to you have in your home?

I love treasures that tell a story! Where did you pick them up? Wherever it was, I hope it was a grand adventure.

Visitors to your home must have a wonderful time just looking at all your beautiful vignettes. I bet you are the most popular gal on the block.

Great finds you have to remind you of your travels.

I do that, too. Shells and rocks seem to make it home with me. Feathers if I'm lucky enough to find any. And art I may find in a gallery. And post cards. Especially if I can find some old ones... I'm too much of a collector -- and that's a bad thing!

I like your fat pencils!

Since eventually I'm going to be downsizing, I bring back recipes from where ever I go...It's fun to go back to a happy vacation time through food.
Love the pencils...visiting from Friday's Finds.

Awesome!

We have some prints on the wall.

And my husband has collected quite a few Native American pieces over the years, since his family is 100% by blood and many of them make and sell their crafts at the powwows.
