Jail House Rock...

This is one of my favorite photos of my husband, Richard.   I have taken tons of candid shots of Richard.  We have been married long enough that it's difficult to buy gifts for him - (what could he possibly need besides the love of a good woman which he already has!)  I make a yearly calendar for him which he loves.

This is the page for June 2013.  Original photo taken in the jail house in Sherbrooke Village, Nova Scotia.

He's such a good sport!

He has to be a keeper what with putting up with your photographing him "in jail"! Two of my granddaughters take pictures of their family and the family dog for an annual calendar. :)

Great shot! I wanted to do this for my husband last year but ran out of time. The fact that he absolutely hates having his picture taken makes for slim pickings.

You're right that he's a good sport -- he's also a darned good model! I bet as soon as you finished with that picture, though eyes and face crinkled up into a huge smile -- maybe a laugh!

The calendar is such a great gift idea. I am hoping that by the end of the year I will have 12 really good photos to put a calendar together for the family gifts.

How fun that you have his permission to put him behind bars.

My goodness I haven't thought of photographing my husband on a regular basis...just the grand kiddies!! Or all of them together. This is a gentle reminder to do it more often. Love that composition and the bars! Way too clever.
