Favorite Things...

When I travel, I'm always on the hunt for art which I can take home with me.  I found this delightful clay mug at a gallery in Victoria by the Sea, PEI.  It now sits on a table in my studio.  I love this little guy!  What favorite thing have you found and brought home with you?

That's the best "Mug Shot" I've seen.

Ha! I can see how you get a kick out of this guy. Have you named him?

I LOVE him! I try to find pretty earrings at galleries or fairs when I travel. But I think two of my favorites are signed prints of cats done by an artist who seemed to have my boys in mind back then!

That's a good one! I often bring back a small handmade pottery or ceramic pitcher typical of the countries I travel to. I go for blue or green and I love to use them for milk, cream, syrup or dressing at home.

I can see why you couldn't resist this little guy, he must make you smile every time you need a pen.

I don't often go on vacation, and actually are not looking for things to bring home as I am always jam packed when I go!

This made me smile. I do the same as you, I always like to buy something handmade when I go somewhere. It can be art glass, stoneware, but preferably mugs :) I love yours!
