You be the Judge...

I constructed a light box to enable me to take photos with no distracting background.  It's something I've been wanting to do for myself for quite some time.

I keep this old coffee can on a bookshelf in my studio - the addition of silk flowers and greenery adds a bit of whimsy, don't you think?

A ripple filter was added to the texture layer.  This layer was duplicated and a layer mask applied.

Beautiful work!

I used a graphic program called Paint Shop Pro and in that program I have different plugins(effects). On my photo I used a plugin Flaming Pear - Flood. Flood makes the water(waves)there are many ways to make the waves. Well...That's it :)

The lightbox worked exceptionally well; very nice to have the white background that then showcases your texture choice. Lovely processing and a wonderful image. Thanks for sharing. Karen (visiting from PAF)

You are inspiring me to make a lightbox too. The vintage coffee can adds another dimension to this nicely processed piece. (from PAF)

I really do like that color pop of the yellow with the coffee can. Terrific look with the light box -- can't see a "thing."

Looks great - I made a lightbox a while ago using foam board. I never thought of using it and then adding a background. Love what you've done here.

A light box is a fantastic idea, and I LOVE that I could mouseover and see the original. I must have done that twenty times.

How interesting and different the two versions are. The lightbox looks like it achieved the effect you wanted. I also like it with Bonnie's texture. Great work, Pat.
