Scuffed White...

Who would have guessed that one day my scruffy walking shoes would be considered art - not I that's for sure!

Mouse over photo to see original.

Love it! How do you do the mouse over feature? Is it a blogger feature or Elements feature?

What a great difference with the layers! I may have to invest in a new edition of Elements if I keep seeing such beautiful images!

I, too, am a quilter, and for years I made dolls. Now I am concentrating on the photography. Thanks for your response about my being unable to access “felicity” . I will look for it on your site. In this shot I love the way you have lightened your sneakers. I am a lover of the old Flemish painters, so I have had a tendency to go dark with just a tad of light somewhere in the shot. Now, with the Beyond Layers class with Kim, I am trying to make myself thing LIGHT and SIMPLE. Nice composition in this one. genie
