Portugal Pinks...

It's been quite a while since I posted on Pink Saturday.  Lucky me - I've been traveling!  First Spain and Portugal then the Caribbean.  I've been busy, busy since I returned home getting ready for Christmas.

I took a picture of these pink and white beans at the Flower Market in Madeira, Portugal.  The fruits and vegetables were displayed beautifully.  I don't know the name of these beans, but they were so pretty I had to take a photo of them.  Surely someone will include these beans on their Christmas dinner menu!

more flower market pinks!

Go to Pink Saturday for more inspiration!

Hi Pat,

My...you've been a jet setter and a cruiser...ok, it's time to stay home and show us ALL of the photos. ♥ :0)

Those pink beans look delicious as well as everything else.

While you've been gone I've been working on my Etsy Shoppe, Facebook, Pinterest....good grief... plus making things to sale. I'd love to have you visit with me. It has been a while for me also to link to Pink Saturday. There's just not enough hours in the day for me lately.

Glad you are home...
Hugs,
Steph ♥

Hi Pat, You were missed but I know you were enjoying your travels. These are interesting beans and I'm sure they would be delicious. I love going to the fruit/veggie and flower markets while traveling. Interesting to see what other cultures enjoy. Welcome home and Happy Pink.

I think it is great you getting to travel and see so many interesting places. I do believe their markets there are nicer than here.

We call the pink beans Cranberry beans here on Long Island. I have never had them, but I have been told at the market they lose their pretty color when cooked.
Lucky you to be on a vacation! I hope you brought home some of those wonderful dishes that are made in Portugal.
Thanks for stopping by! Merry Christmas!

Happy Pink Saturday! The beans look so neat. Have you ever eaten such beans? I never have, but they'd probably be interesting. *Must search for bean recipes.* ^_^ -Lola from Buddhatropolis.
