Back to School...

This week's Texture Tuesday challenge theme is "Back to School".  Participants are to use a photo plus two of Kim's textures.

I have a twin brother, Barney.  We were in the same first grade class - 1953 can you believe it?!  No one is smiling - I wonder why?
I used Kim's textures KK2 and She Loves You.

BTW, I'm hosting a give-away.  If you'd like a chance to enter, click HERE.

Oh, I simply adore old B&W shots! :)
I am an only child and I always wanted a sibling, how fun must be having a twin bro.
Have a happy day!

Hiya Pat,
I was hoping you'd weigh in soon. Always enjoy your entries.
This one is so funny, in a nostalgic way. Hands folded. We had arms folded and it had to be left over right.

oh, the nostalgia in that photo! I would love to have my students that attentive all the time... Unless I act a little crazy with my lectures (which I'm known to do), I've never got such focused looks upon me.

Such a CLASSIC photo..so many well behaved and OBEDIENT students..nicely dressed.
Back in 1945 and forward.. we would line up on a bench and/or on the floor cross legged and the taller of us.. standing behind the bench.. I always looked like a sad little blue eyed urchin, we wore what our folks could afford to dress us in..which was not all that great.
Recently my siblings and our grown children and some grandchildren all took a senimental journey tour of our my old neighborhood in Chicago and much to my surprise they were SO interested in all of it..our old Grade School and HS and the home we grew up in.
Thanks, this photo brings back some very dear memories.
