window dressing....

I love old windows and doors - don't you?!

My original photo taken in Nova Scotia.
Bevel and drop shadow added to text - dramatic, huh?

Art in Stitches...

The Naples Quilters Guild held its annual quilt show this weekend.  I was invited to exhibit my work in celebration of the guild's 30th year.  I was happy to meet up with friends I haven't seen in a while and the opportunity to meet visitors to Naples.

Vintage Lamp...

I would dearly love to own a vintage oil lamp like this - one never knows when a storm will shut off our lights!

My original photo taken in Sherbrooke Village, Nova Scotia.

"Blue Missive," "Lost and Found," and  "Antique Me" textures courtesy of Pixel Dust Photo Art - I used all 3 of these delightful textures!  Layer mask to each texture layer added to protect the glass reflection.

An Apple...

There were hundreds of small apples lying about in a small park area in Burncoat, Nova Scotia.  This little was was lying all alone on the board walk.

"Chill" texture courtesy of Kim Klassen.  Addition of several white to transparent gradients.

This little light of mine...

This light isn't so little, but there is something about it I just like.

My original photo edited in Aperture;  Topaz Labs ink and pen filter added.

Wheels of Downton...

I'm a big fan of Downton Abbey.  I don't think I know a soul who doesn't enjoy this fine program.

It seemed proper to use a vintage-type photo with one of Kim's Downton textures.  My original photo of buggy wheels and bicycle tires was taken in Sherbrooke Village, Nova Scotia.

Surely not everyone in Downton has an automobile!
