I stumbled across this boat while on my beach walk this morning. It was predawn when I started out. I saw a large black blob of a shape on the beach. It wasn't until I came quite near it that I realized it was a capsized sailboat. The sun was coming up as I finished my walk and was headed back to my car. Photos taken with my i-phone.
Texture and vignette added to my original photos.

Great boat shot from your phone. Look better than when I use my point and shoot.
ReplyDeleteThese are great shots! A great find, I would love to know the story.
ReplyDeleteThese are terrific! I wonder how it came to be there like that!
ReplyDeletewhat happened to that one? Love your second image :)
ReplyDeleteI cannot help but wonder what happened? I mean sometimes you see boats stranded due to shifting tides, but this does not look like it. I hope everyone is o.k. It is a beautiful ship and I love your edit. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo why is a boat laying on it's side on a beach ... is this a sad story or a story of neglect? If only it could tell us why it is alone in a place where boats don't belong. Beautifully provocative ...
