Hi there - I've missed you and your wonderful paintings! Thanks for stopping by to share at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/02/the-walls-of-san-juan.html
That painting is beautiful! You are really talented.
Just dropping by for Wordless Wednesday. Have a great week! http://healthymomsmagazine.net/2016/03/march-brings-wordlesswednesday-with-linky-on-a-tuesday.html
I like it very much, Pat. Lovely capture in your own style. I keep grappling with this, painting and practicing more but not sure if I'm looking toward technique or style and just kind of exploring. It's so much fun to see what you do!
For my last three post I have struggled trying to teach myself to do new things. The painting part has ben hard for me, too, but you have done a wonderful job with your crabapple tree. It was so nice to see the transition from beginning to end. It is a beautiful conclusion to your efforts. It was well worth all of your effort.
It may have been a challenge, but you did it great justice. It's nice to see the steps of the process. I imagine it takes patience to wait for the layers to dry.
All beginning is hard, but you got it, lady! Look at my Art Notes - I have a plein air on there (click on the right top menu box with the 3 horizontal stripes and click on Art Notes. On the top of my head I know for sure, the bottom one is a Yosemite landscape). Hope you continue this - landscapes are not something you're good at in 3 times:) So be patient. If you have any questions, let me know!
Oh my - your painting is amazing.
ReplyDeletethe last picture is so wonderful! P.
