My dining room is the staging area for my upcoming garage sale. I've found an amazing amount of stuff in cabinets, drawers, nooks and crannies that I haven't used in awhile or cannot use in our new home. In a couple of weeks, these things will be stacked out in the garage - thank goodness I have some friends who have offered to help out.
The addition of several different filters in Photoshop Elements and/or Topaz Labs make my things look almost too good to sell.

You are right, they look too good to sell. Stay strong :) Good luck with the garage sale.
ReplyDeleteOh my! It just kills me when I see stuff I know I'd snatch up in a minute -- but the sale is thousands of miles away! Good luck -- I think you'll be very successful!
ReplyDeleteOh, all that blue makes me swoon. Wish I could make your sale. Good luck. Peggy from PA
ReplyDeleteI love playing with photos and I love your photoshoped pics. I see lots of goodies, wish I could be at this sale!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend.
Good luck with the garage sale!! Two people in my subdivision had garage sales last Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you found some beauty in everyday stuff and had fun playing with photoshop! The first edit is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteYour dishes are very pretty. Good luck with the garage sale.
You can do this! Clearing out clutter and getting a fresh start will likely unleash a new creative burst as well. Your yard sale collection is gorgeous, and I can see how difficult it might be to part with such treasures . . . and even more tempting for yard sale shoppers like me . . . but still your creativity comes from your spirit not your stuff. Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteA good way to enjoy stuff you no longer need...photograph it and then get rid of it... All the Best to you! http://lauriekazmierczak.com/life-in-a-slow-lane/
ReplyDeleteLooks like my spare room (full of my father's "treasures" that I can't part with). A great idea to have a sale..an even better one to turn them into a work of art. Beautiful!
