Color Pop

A drawing from my journal.  You can learn more about this project here.

"Sad Blue Eyes"

color pop and texture added

Both versions are dramatic.  I prefer my original drawing mainly because the added texture and color pop warm the drawing up so much.  What do you think?

  9. I really like your original drawing. You are very talented. I'm lucky if I can draw a recognizable stick figure.

  10. It's hard to chose. The first image is striking but the second image has warmth (color wise) to it. Would love to be able to draw. :0)

  19. I too prefer your original drawing. the blues of the eyes pop and the cold tones match the somewhat sad face.

  27. I think the Original is probably my favorite. It has a more serene feel to it that I find appealing.

  28. Yes, I like the first because of the pop of the eyes. I wonder if a different blending mode with the texture would have retained more of what you like in your original.

    Love that face!
