Hard as Nails...

Among other things, I am a doll maker.  I like to use what's on hand, things I find, the odd bits and pieces.  The hair for this doll is made from concrete NAILS.  The body is made up of dryer lint mixed with glue to form a clay-like substance; apron made up from discarded denim pants.  (Waste not - want not - that's my motto!)

  5. This is terrific. My sister makes crazy wondrous things by upcycling, too. The only thing we save for her from her very lengthy list of things she'd like from us is lint. Her lint jewelry is gorgeous.
