You be the Judge...

I constructed a light box to enable me to take photos with no distracting background.  It's something I've been wanting to do for myself for quite some time.

I keep this old coffee can on a bookshelf in my studio - the addition of silk flowers and greenery adds a bit of whimsy, don't you think?

A ripple filter was added to the texture layer.  This layer was duplicated and a layer mask applied.

  1. Beautiful work!

I used a graphic program called Paint Shop Pro and in that program I have different plugins(effects). On my photo I used a plugin Flaming Pear - Flood. Flood makes the water(waves)there are many ways to make the waves. Well...That's it :)

  2. The lightbox worked exceptionally well; very nice to have the white background that then showcases your texture choice. Lovely processing and a wonderful image. Thanks for sharing. Karen (visiting from PAF)
