Richard bought me a Harley cap at a garage sale - to go with my new bike!
"Felicity" texture courtesy of Kim Klassen.
Topaz filter added to original photo of bike; background removed from hat photo then placed in this one. Color removed from "Felicity" texture; Layer Mask added; Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer added. Correct camera distortion vignette added.

ReplyDeleteWonderful image! I had to study it for awhile because at first I thought it was a trompe l'oeil painting. Great editing!
ReplyDeleteI love those sturdy black lines of the bike against those textures. Wonderfully done. Have fun riding!
ReplyDeleteThe Harley cap and the bike goes really well together, Pat! :)

Do you have safe trails to ride where you live?
That saddle looks so comfy and the frame reminds me of the courier bikes of the twenties.
I love your bike Pat...you have done great things with the photo, good photograph altogether.
ReplyDeleteLOL...I love how you turned your photo in to a b/w and added just enough color...great editing.

Beautiful photography, love the hat! Happy Pink Saturday! ~Diane (I am #21)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool bike! I love that you have very dark and very light in this photo. The contrast really works. To me the color of the Harley hat is a bit stracting. It might be better in B&W. Also, the front tire is slightly clipped. Love the vintage treatment to the photo. It really gives a timeless quality to it. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe Pianist in Pink, have a great weekend!
Such an interesting image. I love the textures you captured. I think it is a great capture, but I might like to see it from a little farther back - so there is a bit of room on the left side. It is a beautiful image! Well done ;)
ReplyDeleteVery nice work on the photo and it looks like a good ride too!
ReplyDeleteGreat image! Have fun riding your bike!
ReplyDeleteHey that is the perfect bike! Wide side, high handlebars and I bet it has coaster brakes too!

ReplyDeleteYou need to take us a shot of you on your bike with that hat on your head. It will be fab. I have searched thru all of my mail from Kim and cannot find the link to “felicity” to save my soul. I wanted to post this week, but could not put my hands on the texture. Guess I am just getting old! Love your shot and the texture. genie
