The other day we walked along the 1.5 mile boardwalk (one way) in the Smyrna Dunes Park in New Smyrna Beach, Fl.  We couldn't get to the lighthouse on foot at least not from where we were walking.  I don't think I've ever seen an orange lighthouse before.  Actually, we did a 3 mile round trip walk.  Once we came to the end, we didn't realize that was the parking lot the car was parked in so after a bathroom break, we turned around and walked to the beginning again!

It's a bird sanctuary, but honestly, we didn't see anything unusual except a few tortoises, which, of course, aren't birds :-)  It was a beautiful day for a walk - not too hot, slight breeze.

One Million Acts of Kindness

I was out shopping for shoes.  I didn't see a single pair that begged me to take them home.  I did espy this fantastic bus sitting in the parking lot.  I couldn't resist taking some photos.  Unfortunately, the driver was no where to be found.
