I'm afraid I might not *sit* long in this chair and would find myself on the ground! But, fixed up a bit, it would be wonderful! Visiting from Texture Tuesday and Texture Twist.
Fantastic chair. With the wonderful condition its in now, it makes me wonder who has been using it all its wonderful life. And where is its adventure taking it now.
LOL... I think I'd fall right out on my bum... but still, think of all the stories it holds. I wish it could tell us just a few. Visiting from Texture Tuesday and Texture Twist.
What a fun shot! Some memories here for me -- I can remember a set of chairs (much like this one but with a complete back!) one of my Aunt's had. She would bring them out for picnics in her yard.
What a lovely chair!

ReplyDeleteWhen you live in a small fishing community, you have to learn to make do. The chair is artful in a utilitarian sort of way. - Margy
