Beach Wedding...

On my Sunday morning walk, I found the remnants of a Saturday night beach wedding.  How romantic being married under a bower of flowers at sunset.  My husband and I were married in a small chapel in the woods - that was very romantic too!  How about you?  Where did you say your vows?

Original photos taken with my I-phone.

These flowers were in pots at the base of the bower.
Several Topaz Labs filters added.  "2701" texture courtesy of Kim Klassen.

  2. Awfully pretty, Pat! Rick and I haven't and probably never will say vows, unless it's at one of our deathbeds!

  8. How romantic, and that the flowers were still there the next morning. In my day, it was either the church or the justice of the peace....ours was in a church. :) 47 years later no matter where it happens its still going strong.

  10. What a wonderful surprise on your Sunday morning walk. Thank goodness those iphones are always with us. My husband and I eloped to Bora Bora and got married on the beach. It will be our 20th wedding anniversary in November, time does fly by.

  12. Oh this is so very romantic - we said our vows in a bed and breakfast in front of a roaring fire. But I would love to say our vows again on the beach!

  13. What a lovely find on your morning walk. I got married in a little church that we joined before hand, but never fell in love with. Our marriage has survived despite that omen. (if it was an omen)

  24. That is incredibly pretty...I love the way archways of flowers look, and love the combination of deep greens, creams, and pale yellow colors. I'm not married...yet...but I'd like to do it in Italy if possible.
