Halloween in Savannah

Like everywhere else in the US, there will be a lot of partying going on in town tonight.  We may be brave and hit some of the bars on River Street - dressed up as tourists!

Pretty pumpkins on the steps

There were a number of ghouls and goblins running around early today.  (Can you guess which one of these characters is my husband?)
The students at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) do not have classes on Fridays...I'm sure they will stay up late tonight having a good time!

Artist, Sue Nichols, in her gallery - she took her angel wings off because they were getting into the paint she was mixing.

  1. What a beautiful setting, that first one of the staircase and pumpkins and vines on the steps just calls for a photo. Love that. I am going to be in your city at the end of March next year for a workshop can't wait to, my first time.

  3. I hope your husband was the one with the Naples cap because if he was the other guy, you have a medical problem on your hands! Great photos -- looks like a grand time!

  5. Love, love, love that first photo! Here in the Netherlands we don't celebrate Halloween like you do, so I've enjoyed seeing your halloween portraits.

  6. I like the idea of angels with painted wings. Or was Sue a fairy? Quite a delightful post.
