Splash!

If I told you how many hours I spent and shots I took trying to capture a water drop, you would laugh.  This was very difficult (for me) to do...trying to manually focus the camera, setting up a container to drip water, etc.

First I set up in the kitchen, but that did not work.  I finally resorted to taking everything outdoors.  (Water dripped into a dark blue bowl.)

This is not exactly the shot I hoped for (the focus is a bit "off"), but for the time being it will do.

  7. I have yet to try a water drop shot for the reasons you mentioned. I like the deep blue bowl.
