See You Later Alligator...

Early Saturday morning, I drove out to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary.  It was quiet and cool - a recipe for a grand morning to take photos.

Just inches off the boardwalk, this alligator was enjoying a morning snooze.  It measured approximately 4 to 5 feet in length.

    Great shot. A couple years ago a 13 footer was pulled out of a river here, which broke all previous records of alligators found. I say there are probably more that size that have yet to be found.

    Wow that would be scary to be so close, good thing it was taking a bit of a snooze. The park sounds like an awesome place to visit.
