Rainy Skies

We've had nothing but rain, rain, rain for what seems like the entire summer.  Luckily, no hurricanes - that's a good thing.

The skies filled rain clouds over the gulf are quite dramatic.  (I skeedaddle home at the first sight of lightning.)

A photo of raindrops on my car window was layered over top of my original photo taken on the Naples beach.

  2. Those are fabulous -- if very freaky looking -- clouds. I do love a good storm or two, as long as the lightning isn't too bad -- but day after day of them gets rather tedious!

  3. Amazing shot, we had less rain this summer than we usually get but it's making up for it now !!!!

  4. Stunning capture of the storm clouds! It looks like a painting. Not sure I'd be staying on the beach for very long. :-)

  7. Dark ominous clouds but those people at the beach don't seem to mind at all.

  9. Wow that is some shot. I'm not so sure I'd be staying on that beach with those clouds looming in the sky like that. Stunning piece.

  10. That is simply stunning. I'm worried about the people on the beach :) We don't get rain here at all in the summer. Quite the opposite of your weather!

  13. What a great image! The people on the beach seem oblivious to what is looming off in the distance. Certainly tells a story.

  15. I am starting a new painting of some stone bridges in Scotland, I am going to take your sky and apply to my colors that I use. It definitely adds drams.

  18. I'm envious. I love a good storm and your image portrays so many of the things I love about them. It's a very dramatic and beautiful shot. Or perhaps that should be dramatically beautiful. Either way.
