Watch this...

Somehow yesterday I misplaced my sports watch.  I don't normally wear a watch.  I do,  however, like to time my daily walks/run.  I keep track of my time - I know, I know - totally insane, but I do it anyway.

I found a Casio sports watch at Kohls today.  It was on sale plus I had a 15% additional off coupon - yippee!  No bells and whistles on this number - it tells me the time, date and it's a stopwatch - what more do I need - not a thing.

I'm quite certain I will now find my old watch...what do you think?

  3. I have a collection of Mickey Mouse watches which I used to wear all the time. Now they all need batteries so I have just given up wearing them.

  4. With my iPhone in my pocket, I stopped wearing a watch too, but I get the timing of walks. I track my cycling and walks (time, distance, speed, etc.) using an app on my phone.

  5. I wear a watch as a matter of habit and never think to look at my phone for the time...I think the use or lack of use of a watch is a big age give away...we older folks are just used to them, while most younger ones have learned to rely on their phones...but then I do use a phone app to keep track of my timing for my walks...kindly loaded onto my phone by my son, from that younger, more phone aware generation.

  6. Of course you will find your watch. That's exactly what happens. At least now you will have choice and back-up! It looks like it has everything you'd ever need -- I like it! And the price was definitely right!

  7. PS -- I don't know how old you are but if you are 62, I think Kohl's does an additional senior discount. At least the one here does!

  10. Everyone has their own choices, I like walking or swimming without considering the space nor the time, I do it just to relax, without any border or reference!

  12. I haven't been wearing my watch since I've got my first cell phone 10 years ago. I wonder where I've put it... now that you bought a new one, you'll sure wind your old watch! ;)
